UNDERSTANDING THE LOVE OF GOD
Aeons of years have displayed
the continuum of God’s Love, that is, from His Love to the world to His Love to
His Children in serving Him. God for
ages understood that the world will never accept Him as God (Read the whole chapter of John 17). Matter of fact, the world knows no God at
all. The world will always hate God.
Inversely, God also knows that
His children who need to have His Spirit in them are the only ones who will
hear His voice and follow Him. Further,
He also knew that they will be persecuted, mocked and sneered in this world
even killed.
Now, God created all thing in
His holiness, hence, the whole creation is holy even as the lands are holy
which is suppose to be inhabited by holy people. Thus, a long history of peoples being spewed
out of the land in the ancient times like being carried away captive into
another land and replaced with another, howbeit, with purposes of either to
provoke them to jealousy or to put them into exile, hence, their stories of return
to the holy land.
God being holy and His
creations holy, that is, these operate under the laws and graces of God alone
having no choice but to obey only as the Spirit dwells in them: reveals to us
that everyone, therefore, who exercises his own will and freewill are not of
God but is of the world. However, God in
his love to create people in His image and to create New Heavens and New Earth which
are holy will never show love and mercy the way as the world understand it.
The Love and Mercies of God
are never unconditional. The Love of God
works in many ways, levels, purpose, will, intent, time, and counsel, hence,
never as the way this world understood as unconditional love.
What the world knew as
unconditional love of God is actually the love
of God for the world. There is a
love of God for the things he is actually creating and there is a love of God
for those who are serving Him. The Love of God is a continuum.
In the world, He teaches and
instructs his servants and children to love their enemies, love their
neighbors, bless those who persecute them, and forgive those who sinned against
them.
Now, because of this
magnanimous character of God displayed unto the peoples in this world since the
beginning of days sending his servants and messengers to them which is a world
of occasions and opportunities and, worse, of iniquities the whole world took the
magnanimity of God as a universal fact about God for not knowing the scriptures
nor the power of God.
By and large, the Love and
mercies of God are conditional in many ways, that is, when he is creating the
people whom He chose to be in His likeness and image the love of God becomes a
suffering and a travail to them that love him which is, to say, in well-doing
and obedience.
Creating a man to be holy and
perfect is never possible in an unconditional system or environment, hence the
words “He chasteneth whom He loveth” … “turn ye at my reproof and I will pour
out my Spirit upon you.” Simply put, in creation, all things are conditional as
a system. The agape love people
traditionally view and perceive as unconditional is never the whole and perfect
love of God towards his children, so to speak.
ON
LOVE OF GOD TO HIS SONS OR CHILDREN (THIS IS NOT UNCONDITIONAL)
·
Deuteronomy 8:5
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son,
so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
·
Proverbs 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
·
Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he
chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
·
Hebrews 12:7
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is
he whom the father chasteneth not?
IN
CREATION - HIS WAY OF LOVE IS NOT UNCONDITIONAL
·
Proverbs 1:23
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will
make known my words unto you.
IN
MERCY HIS WAY IS FAR FROM UNCONDITIONAL BECAUSE HE IS CREATING US TO BE HOLY
AND PERFECT IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS
·
Exodus 20:6
And shewing mercy unto thousands
of them that love me, and keep my
commandments.
·
Deuteronomy
5:10 And shewing mercy
unto thousands of them that love me and
keep my commandments.
·
Jonah 2:8 They
that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Where are the wise and the
disputers of this world? Did they ever learn
to come to the knowledge of truth? The lines written above are the witnesses
and testimonies of Moses, Paul, and Jonah, among others.
Honestly, no one can ever tell
that the love of God is realistically unconditional in this world because there
is suffering and there is judgment that prevails among all men and in this
world be it in the past, in the present and surely be it in the future, that
is, if the world’s trend will not change.
Understanding the love and
mercy of God should put everyone into the alignment of the Mind of Christ. The Love of God in the World is unconditional
but the love of God in the system of creation is conditional and filled with
laws, hence, the sins we commit against him.
Additionally, the love of God in serving Him is an all-out-support love
in that He fights for the battles that we will have along the way of service
because the battle belongs to the Lord_ whenever someone is sent to serve
having also the Spirit of God dwelling in him.
Therefore, be not deceive
because the world can only view what it can observe and form it as the basis of
their conclusion and adaption for living in this world but we have the Mind of
Christ and know the Mind of the Spirit.
The Love and Mercies of God
has its dividers by purpose, will, intent, time, judgment and counsel so seek
to understand the Love of God.
