The last days is
the commonly misunderstood & misconstrued language of the Spirit to
man. The language barrier between man and God has prevailed over the
ages, hence, the need for a prophet or a seer or a messenger sent by God to
really give the right interpretation on what is written and what is revealed.
Despite the way of sending his servants to warn and make people
understand his messages people really needed the voice of God whose language
needed to be experienced for purposes of getting the right
translation.
· Jeremiah
44:4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this
abominable thing that I hate.
· Jeremiah
26:5 To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I
sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye
have not hearkened;
Many times the disciples of Jesus would ask the interpretation of his
parables and the revelations he would declare from time to
time. Yea, even his specific instructions were often times put to
uncertainty like the case of feeding more than five thousand people with 5
loaves of bread and 2 fishes!
Matter of
fact, the post-JESUS 12 disciples failed to acknowledge and know
PAUL who has the Spirit and is walking in the Spirit, hence, the division
of the church into a gospel of circumcision and the gospel of uncircumcision.
It was a little later when JAMES, JOHN, and PETER accepted PAUL, saying,
his epistles are hard to be understood:
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which
they that are unlearned and unstable west, as they do also the other
scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Simply put, the
language of the Spirit is not the language of man just as his thoughts are not
the thoughts of man and his ways are not the ways of man.
It is thus
manifest in these present times how many sects and denominations would spring
out of the written word of God as many would claim to have their perfect
understanding of the scriptures.
Verily, every
subsequent religion or church or sect who claim to be a legitimate Church of
Christ which came about only after three hundred years of intellectualization,
litigation, legislation or else imagination is neither reflective of the sect
of the Nazarene as described in the new testament nor have the vestiges of that
true Christian church which is in Antioch.
Therefore, before
veering away from the main subject of this essay which is understanding the
LAST DAYS there is really no teacher who has the Spirit of God in him and the
law to regulate the interpretation of the laws and prophecies, and worse, trust
the decreed law and word of God by the man sent by God.
As everyone would
suspect a doctrine or teaching coming from anyone, nowadays, it is thus very
difficult to convince people about the TRUTH even though a man would have the
spirit of God in him or is sent by God.
The dearth of
people with Spirit makes matters worse as seeking God would be impossible in
this state and condition. It is impossible to try and know every spirits
whether they are of God. Thus, it is likely that the whole of the Christendom
is running on a "stand-alone" system of belief or in an “offline
mode” while seeking God when the system of God works “online”.
On the contrary,
the scriptures is the stand-alone version of the Spirit which allows a man to
work and perform analysis, evaluation, validation and comparison of the works,
ways, mind, and manner of God aiding man into coming to the truth and to
the faith, so to speak. Thus, it behooves to say the scriptures is our
schoolmaster to bring us to faith as it is written.
By metaphor, to
work on the scriptures by its letters presumptuously as if it were the whole
system itself working online on a website, necessarily with the other desktops
in the network, will mean a disaster and incapacitate the workman to see the
present-macro view of the real time information that is running online or shall
we say understand the spiritual things by the Spirit in the present time.
Thus, to stay focus on the meat of
this essay the last days means that it is to be indicated by perilous times:
HENCE,
2 Timothy 3:1-7 — This know also, that in the last days
perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 For
men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection,
trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are
good,
2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers
of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but
denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into
houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers
lusts,
2 Timothy 3:7 EVER LEARNING, and never able to
come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 3:3 — Knowing this first, that there shall come
in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2 Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of
his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were
from the beginning of the creation.
Clearly,
knowledge will increase in the last days but truly these are all vanities
leading men only to captivity as there is no truth and light in it!
Isaiah 8:20 To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it
is because there is no LIGHT
in them.
People will be loving wisdom, seeking wisdom, and attracted to wisdom a
feat which is no different from that of Eve in the garden of Eden thinking and
imagining that wisdom is to be desired.
Genesis 3:6 And
when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that
it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to
make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and
gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
The last days are
also indicated by judgment as executed by his ministers ministering the Spirit.
Isaiah
2:2 And it shall come to pass
in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be
established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills;
and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say,
Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God
of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for
out of Zion shall go forth THE LAW,
and THE WORD OF THE LORD from
Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:4 And HE
SHALL JUDGE among the nations, and shall REBUKE many people: and they shall beat their swords
into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up
sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Now, if people
will continue to think that these present days of ours are not really the
last days despite the knowledge presented here_ many will be caught unaware
having not the spirit of knowledge and of fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall
rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of
knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Beware lest any man deceive you by speaking not according to this revelation _ that God is a Spirit and the same will dwell in men who are his temple. Everyday on this earth is the last day as you measure it by the written word of God! Amen.
Isaiah 8:9 Associate
yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye
of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird
yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
Isaiah 8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall
come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with
us.
