THE SUFFERINGS OF THE SONS OF GOD

The subject on sufferings deeply stems from the idea of an abundant life here on earth which everyone is seeking!  A German philosopher named Nietzche reflected on sufferings so much that he said human sufferings are an enabling factor for a man to overcome and transcend into a better or higher being and something to be endured, borne or accepted in contradiction to the Judeo-Christian value of suffering for morality.   Many ideas emerge in an attempt to understand suffering from several other philosophers.

In search of the good which is associated with abundant life people abhor sufferings and pain which do not define or resemble as a part of an abundant life.  The whole world measure abundance in material gains and in pleasures and in well-being and some in spirit.

Sad to say, unwittingly, there are many spirits that abound on this earth like the Spirit of God, the spirit of man, the holy spirit and the profane spirit that actually dwell in men according to their cleanness (a dwelling for the holy spirit), or else, their uncleanness (a dwelling for the profane spirit).

Now, there is a spirit of a man that is part of his being which gains or is being formed in the image of God to have the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. There is a fruit of the spirit of a man because of his knowledge as he read and hear it from men teaching about righteousness of the law or, simply put, righteousness.

Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

The anti-thesis to the mind of the spirit of man is the Mind Of God concerning the promise on an abundant in life which he said,

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

This abundant life is in the way of the Spirit and not in the way of man's own spirit because the way of man is described as a way which seems right to him but its ends are the ways of death! The abundant life is a prosperous life in body, soul, and spirit.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Now it is to be understood that to walk in the way of the spirit means that the flesh will not profit from it like gaining material things because the spirit is against the flesh and the flesh is against the spirit.  The Spirit or spirits are the ones living and the ones giving life to the flesh and soul of a man.  The soul of a man is the seat of his emotion built and formed from his olfactory senses.  The soul is to become a quickening spirit and is the gatekeeper which need to be trained and exercised in the Spirit of Truth.

Now, this God prescribed that life is in his son and to find that life is to lose one's life for his sake.  Simply put, man will have to deny himself, and carry your cross, and follow Him! This path is a path of surrender and submission to the Will of God and we are advised to arm ourselves with the same mind as the saints of old. We are to mortify our flesh lust or cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit.  This way is what is meant by losing one's own life! It is suffering in well-doing.

Going back,  the command is not to commit sin or we will be separated from God.  Living a life of sinfulness will bring something more worse than what happened to us before!

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Matthew 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Now, many will disagree with me saying they are already forgiven for they will claim verses like, quoting, My father which gave them me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand! or say, only believe and you shall be saved!  There many other verses that will support such claim as God is a God of love and mercy and kindness unmindful of the fact that man in his sinful nature is separated from God.

God himself said that he has no pleasure that a wicked man should die but that he should turn away from his sins and live. The very first Book of the Holy Bible which is the Book of Genesis explicitly tells man that He drowned the whole world during the time of Noah because their minds were only continually evil.  Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden because of SIN.  Angels in heaven were expelled and thrown into the earth because of SIN.  The last book of the Holy Bible also stipulated that no sinner can enter into heaven but shall be in danger of hell fire!

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

For lack of knowledge one can should be reminded of the words of Jesus Christ himself in John Chapter 17.  The ones given by the father to Jesus were to keep his words and to sin more!

John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
John 17:6  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

No one man will ever be able to save himself because salvation is an act of God!  This act is by sending the Spirit which God will give to us, that is, for the Spirit to dwell in us when we are cleansed and become the temple of God.

John 2:21     But he spake of the temple of his body.

1 Corinthians 3:16     Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 3:17     If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Now, this is salvation that the the spirit is renewed in us and we are washed.  Now, this is salvation in that it is not by our might nor by power but by the Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).  Now this is salvation that the Spirit of Grace is come to us to work the work of God that we may believe on him whom He has sent! (Zechariah 12:10).  Therefore, the gift is the Spirit and the work it does in us and is never our own work so that we can never boast!  This is clear suffering.

This is the reason why  sufferings come into the fore on the sons of God for the sons of God are led by the Spirit: and the Spirit is against the flesh!

This the reason why believing in the name of Jesus is not just the whole picture of salvation but also in suffering for his sake!  The reason behind suffering is because of the operation of the Spirit once it stays in us! It is at enmity against our flesh, hence the Spiritual battle which is a form of suffering for there is confusion, trouble, reproach, confusion, and shame in it!  The process towards holiness and perfection is in the Spirit by walking in the spirit.

Now, there is no magic or miracle to the process of becoming holy and perfect.  This stage is achieved by obeying the voice of God who is come in the flesh.  Ironically, the whole world today is trying to witness for a God in his name which they were or are never witnesses being born only yesterday nor have seen him.
The people we read from the Holy Bible are the very witnesses of Him in those times but not for this time.  The present day man  can never become God's witness to witness for the things which God did in those times:  any man who would attempt to witness the works of God of old the same becomes the false witness of God.  This is the reason why angels are so eager to see what will happen or what will be done in these present days and times we live in.

1 Peter 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Remember, God is a Spirit and in that BEING He can  change in form and substance, and in purpose, in will, in intent, in time, in judgment, in counsel and in pleasure. God can make the straight crooked and the crooked thing straight! God declares things that are right. No man can boast that he knows God of which, today, we can hear many false witnesses claiming they know God when they are not sent by God.

Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

All of the witnesses of God from the ancient times to the New Testament times suffered in the name of God and in the Spirit.  Any man who has not the Spirit of God in him is never a witness of God.  Any man who is not able to keep the words of God or obey do not actually love God for the love of God is  to keeping His commandments and to keep his commandments is to suffer in the flesh!

The sufferings of the sons of God is in denying himself which is to have no fellowship with the world, meaning, he will have to keep himself from the vanities, cares and pleasures of the world. The sufferings of the sons of God is in carrying the cross which is the burden of the Lord in the work of the ministry and the edifying of the church.  The sufferings of the sons of God is in following God to be perfect which means his ways must only be along the path of His commandments.  In short, the sufferings of the sons of God is being in the spirit and not in the flesh.

UNDERSTANDING THE LOVE OF GOD BY THE HOLY BIBLE

There many factors a man will have to consider in his pursuit to reading and understanding the word of God in the Holy Bible.  Some seekers of the truth or readers of the scriptures mistake the words written in it (by the author or the witness of God's works and testimonies) as if all the words in the Bible were the Words of God.  They forget that the Holy Bible is a book consisting of words of men who are witnesses inspired of the Holy Ghost, words of revelation from God by the prophet and the voice of God himself.  The Bible also contains the words of angels and the devils or shall we say unclean spirits.

A squint look at these words can result to a different interpretations of its context and a different understanding of the Word of God or the bible itself which would lead a man into teaching another Jesus or another gospel or make man receive another spirit.  Worse, a seeker of truth will find the Bible a book of errors, and ambiguities, and contradictions making him to avoid it and seek another book having not the understanding on how the Holy Bible was written.  The above case is just one of the causes or one of the sources of the wrong understanding of the Holy Bible.

To demonstrate the source of errors and misinterpretations in the Holy Bible is to take the examples as follows:

           a.  The verses below came from David, a man.  Hence, the idea that a man is made by God a "little lower than angels" is an expression by David which he perceived in his experience in obeying to the commandments of God. David saw the war in the spirit where a man has no chance of winning it.  The words spoken by David, however, carries with it a Spirit of Prophecy which confirm the words of David as a word that came from God as this was fulfilled during the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh.  The words saying, "man was made a little lower than the angels" do not, however, prove that it is the Word coming from God himself if we take it from the point of view regarding the value of man in the eyes of God as he was originally designed and conceptualized.

David's words
Psalms 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Paul's words
Hebrews 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

The verses below will confirm the value of man, in the eyes of God, even, as God is saying that man was made in His likeness and image purposely to have dominion over every living thing

26
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

In another place, God said, that He will create man to be more precious than fine gold, yea, He (Jesus the Son of God) said that man is more than the lilies and the birds.

Jesus words
26Matthew 6:26  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27Matthew 6:27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28Matthew 6:28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29Matthew 6:29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30Matthew 6:30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Isaiah 13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir
Man in the eyes of God is truly his creation more than any other living creature in this world! Man was originally designed to be superior than the Devil and his angels and the creation of man continues till today because he will need to attain the state of having dominion over all the living creatures on earth, as he was blessed of God, most especially over himself.

The fall of Adam and Eve at the garden of Eden is a story of how man devalued himself and became a creature lower than the angels.  Man was and is to be created to overcome the world whose god is Satan.  Man's creation will only begin when he becomes the dwelling of the spirit of the Holy God _ a temple and a sanctuary of God, so to speak.
30

Psalms 104:30  Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

When the spirit of God comes to dwell in a man the same makes a man to walk in the spirit and to walk in the spirit is to have an experience in the spiritual life.  This experience makes a man to know the spirits along the path enabling him and equipping him to discern spirits in the future, yea, even the manner of spirit that dwells in him.

Going back, the errors and misinterpretations in the Holy Bible come from the inability or handicap of man to fully comprehend what is written.  Examples in history would tell us that Stalin and communist Russia misinterpreted the philosophy of Marx and Engels just as Hitler and the Nazis  did to the philosophy of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzche.  The aphorisms stated by a book from a particular author can easily fit into the void mind of an evil man making him a different person from what was originally conceptualized or designed or purposed as to be understood by the target audience or reader.

The inability of man to see through the time and space and the noumenon where God displayed his works makes a man half as he is purposely designed to understand, hence, the errors and the misinterpretations.

When God drowned the ancient world because of the evil of their imagination was supported by the epoch of Moses' ministry to destroy and occupy the holy land of Canaan where the Hivites, Hittites, Girgashites, Jebusites, Amorites, Canaanites and Perizzites lived abominably. All these were overthrown because of their sins.  Even earlier, Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden because of their sin.  Obviously, man is being separated from God because of SIN.

Now, in the time of Jesus the things seen by men were the very acts of Jesus dying on the cross for the SINS of men.  The era of Jesus was love and loving the enemies.  People missed seeing the very reason why Jesus has to die on the cross which was purposely destroy SIN or condemn SIN in the flesh.  The TRUTH is that God is all the time taking away SIN so that man may become once again a creature that can move towards the creation line of eventually dominating the whole of the world to include the Devil and his angels!

It is clear that man is unable to see through the works of God which is destroying SIN and death (second death).  Man will have to see the TRUTH that as he is being emancipated from the bondage of SIN on this earth, or from the fear of death, the blessings which God gave to man from the beginning will eventually emerge true and man will believe that God is true and His words are true. Simply put, God is the TRUTH!

Seeing the works of  God through time and space or the noumenon the truth and the revelation will appear smack in the face of a man saying, God never changed _ he was and is and is to come angry with SIN. The Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation SIN is the center of gravity of the fall of man from the Grace of God.

Man tends to look at a particular event in the Holy Bible and foolishly question why God did it or allowed it to happen contrary to his precedent laws or judgments. Man normally fails to see the body of work of God and his power.  Meaning, the whole work of God is bounded by his own purpose, will, intent, time, judgment, counsel and pleasures (P2WITJC).  Afterall, the TRUTH says that the whole of his creation were created for his pleasure.

Revelation 4:11  Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Today, there are many  truth inventors, and truth creators.  Meaning, they have made themselves as gods whose creations are all bereft of the spirit of God.  It brings or causes no change in a man but teaches man to fight against God.  These people brings a form of godliness but they deny the power of God, meaning, they are teaching the empowerment of men apart from the power of God to become holy and perfect, as if to say, that it is attainable by might or by power!

Know, that the Holy Bible is only rightly understood and interpreted in the Holy Spirit of God and not by the own spirit of man and within the bounds of the P2WITJC of God. The P2WITJC is a divisor of God to all his words and works for man to understand the TRUTH.

To make a walk through to the words in the Holy Bible the table below illustrates the Love of God to man his creature.

THE WORD OF GOD HIMSELF (JESUS)
WORD OF MAN
WORD OF PROPHET BY REVELATION
WORD OF ANGELS
(holy & Evil)
Ezekiel 33:11 no pleasure on the death of the WICKED
PAUL
Hebrews 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
PAUL (ON THE FULFILMENT)
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
MOSES
Deut 23: 5 …but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
DAVID
Psalms 8:5-6 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour…thou hast put all things under his feet

Genesis 1:26-28 Man is created in the image and likeness of God to have dominion over every living thing
DAVID
Psalms 116:15  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints

Isaiah 13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
JOB
Job 25:6  How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
DAVID
Psalms 22:6  But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good …for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Matthew 6: 26- 30  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? …  shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Isaiah 41:14   Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

God created man to have dominion over all living creatures.  God came not to condemn the world but to save. God is kind to the unthankful and the evil. God has no pleasure on the death of the WICKED.

On the other hand, it is man (Paul & Job) who said man is made little lower than the angels.  The man (David) with the Spirit of Prophecy of God also said, that man is made little lower than the angels (Psa 8:4-6) but David's words were not the Spirit of Truth!

In the Love of God,  God would do all things to save man from SIN & DEATH_ by sending his own son to set the example on cleansing to be holy and perfect, by putting man to suffering for him to have a godly sorrow that he may repent, & to put man to fear by judgment and righteousness and equity that he may cease from SIN.

Surprisingly, God called man a "worm" to humble him and, conversely, man (Job and David) called himself worm to humble before God!  Truly, God loves all his creation be they EVIL OR GOOD! Man as no right to fight and kill each other. God is angry with SIN & is destroying SIN in man.  Man is to be greater than Satan and the devils at the end of the process of creation when God sends forth his Spirit which is His voice in the word.

UNDERSTANDING THE CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE

Many scholars are caught nothing even astounded by the fierce arguments of a Muslim or an atheist, saying, the Bible is a corrupted document concerning the Word of God.  Both the antagonists, Muslim and Atheists, claim that the Holy Bible is filled with controversies and contradictions regarding the errors and ambiguities written in it!

On the contrary, some Christian scholars are just willing to die for their belief that the Bible is error free but are unable to contend for their faith.  Obviously, the Christian scholars do lack the knowledge and the understanding on why such errors and ambiguities are extant in the holy Bible.  Jimmy Swaggart and Stanley Sjoberg were both caught flat footed by the Ahmed Deedat when Mr Deedat presented the apparent errors and ambiguities written in the scriptures in the debates that took place.

At the outset, Mr Deedat is a Muslim apologist who claims to have the knowledge on both the Quran and the Holy Bible and the Vedas.  He would normally defend Quran as the Word of God and not the Holy Bible or the Vedas.  Deedat learns more from his debate experiences the weaknesses of every Christian apologist.   Matter of fact, he would use the errors presented by Jimmy Swaggart to Stanley Sjoberg in his debate with him later in Stockholm, Sweden in 1991.  Both Jimmy Swaggart and Stanley Sjoberg failed to convince or silence Mr Deedat.  Hence, Deedat is evermore confident of his scholarship in comparative religion.

Going back, this representation would like to make every human being understand on the reason why there are errors and ambiguities in the Holy Bible by way of attaining the spirit of understanding on who God is and what makes up the Holy Bible.

Along this point, I would like to lay down facts and events and circumstances and situations that affect the writing of the Holy Bible.  Let me, therefore, begin on God and Man point of view.

God is infinitely and eternally all-mighty and all-knowing and omnipresent in BEING while man is a creation of God finite in all aspects of its being.  Clearly, man has not the capacity to know God or be equal with God so that he can claim that he knows God.  To claim that a man knows God is a nonsense and a big red lie! All apologists that come in any form and substance already fail in this test no matter how they say that they know God and God is talking with them or is using them.

Firstly, God is talking to all men and even with Satan. I mean, there are many accounts of experiences written in the Holy Bible that He spake to Moses, to the angels in heaven, to the sons of God, to Satan, to the devils, to Pharaoh-nechoh king of Egypt, to king Cyrus, to King Abimelech of Gerar, to the King of Assyria, to Balaam the greedy prophet and to many other false prophets.  The point here is that what a creature knows of God as revealed to him in one place and to another creature whom God is talking in another purpose will clearly expose the potent reason why there are contradictions and ambiguities in the Holy Bible.

Obviously, the revelations of God in one place to another people and to another purpose and will, and to another intent, and to another judgment, and to another time and to another counsel and to another pleasure, will create a big difference in the experiences of peoples as a whole.

To cite an example is the experience of men with God in the time dimension.  Moses was a man of God commanded to take out a people from Egypt and to fulfil the promise of God to Abraham saying,

Genesis 15:13  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Genesis 15:14   And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Genesis 15:15   And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
Genesis 15:16   But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

The promise of God to Abraham to own the land of Canaan had an undertone which is to spew out the abominable inhabitants of the holy land.  Apparently, God was counting on the iniquities of the Amorites until it is full which took 430 years of waiting while Israel was in Egypt under great bondage.
Therefore, the time of Moses was the time to kill and to destroy nations and to receive the promise of God to own the holy land of Canaan of the Amorites who were the descendants of Ham the son of Noah.

In contrast and in another time, Jesus the Christ was commanded to bring and spread love to the world beginning at Jerusalem.  Jesus was commanded to die on the cross which is very much different from that of Moses until the times of the judges and the kings of Israel and Judah. The times of the judges and the kings were a time to kill and receive the promise but the time of Jesus was to create and reconcile a people in love purposely to use them to glorify the name of God in Jesus!

In both times of Moses and Jesus there is a truth to learn about God.  God has always a purpose and will and intent and time and judgment and counsel and pleasure for all men (P2WITJC).  Since the ancient times God is angry at sin so that he drowned the old world in the time of Noah, He used Israel to destroy the abominable nations at the land of Canaan which was also a promise of God to Abraham, and God killed Ananias and Sapphira in the time of the apostles for lying to the Holy Ghost!

All the time Jesus was telling to people not to commit sin anymore.  Sin in both the Old and the New Testaments is clearly the subject for cleansing.  The manner of God which is his anger with sin is a truth the whole world misses to see.  This is the reason why many religion is teaching that God is merciful and kind and loving.
They missed seeing the truth about God that He is holy and perfect and being a Spirit there can be no way for him to forgive the sins of men because the Spirit is always against the flesh.

Joshua 24: 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

This is the reason why, ever since, God has been sending his servants to intercede for the men in the flesh and teach them the way how to make themselves holy and acceptable to God.  Men, however, refused to accept them but would kill them. In the same vein, God sent servants to intercede because of the absence of a man who is able and acceptable by God to intercede for them.

16
Isaiah 59:16  And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

Now, to continue and to realign ourselves back to the main subject of this article, contradictions also abound in the Holy Bible because the Bible is composed of 66 books written by different authors of different times and places and intellectual capacities.  The numbers can easily vary (errors in figures) when put into writing by another person in another time and place because there is no internet or a database to keep the information and a system to proofread or edit a letter or a book as to keep its syntax or facts or contents or style as firmly the same or as correct, especially, so that these 66 books are separated by hundreds or thousands of years away and by distances on the ground by different language and cultures, to make the matter worse.

What is important are the transcribed events that took place and the witnesses who wrote the events.  What cannot be generally accepted today (by Muslims) out of the transcriptions are the miracles written that is being claimed to have happened then.  The Muslims simply deny the power of God.

However, no one can tell today whether those things actually happened. Technically, no one can tell whether there was a Jesus or a Muhammad who ever existed on this earth because what remained as a proof of their existence is only a book.  No one ancient man ever survived long enough till today to witness for us that the Holy Bible and the Quran are really taken from the accounts of true events or experiences of old.

Setting aside the mind of a skeptic and an agnostic let us continue on the reasons why contradictions appear in the Holy Bible.  As told earlier, the Bible is written by different witnesses who transcribed the events which they witnessed and experienced in a particular time and place.

Take for example the death of Stephen in the book of Acts in which the witness just wrote what he saw and heard from Stephen just before and during the stoning of Stephen.  The witness of Stephen concerning Abraham and Jacob was erroneous.  The witness who wrote the event was just, too, honest and inspired  to write about the incident, hence, the errors.

Even, Paul’s account on his way to Damascus was erroneous because of the absence of a proofreader and an editor when you read his testimony in another place!  One can only surmise that the sufferings and afflictions which Paul walked and lived during his lifelong ministry could have affected his memory, hence, the errors of his statements.  Obviously, however, not affecting the works and ways of God which he walked and lived in his spiritual life.

The Truth of God can be extracted from God’s actions, ways, works, manner, laws, commandments, revelations and from the testimonies of His servants the prophets as written in the Holy Bible.

Now, the Holy Bible is a book of 66 books of various authors which coherence and consistency is only seen and understood in the eyes of Truth.  Unless, a man with the Spirit of God is come to expound and make the right interpretation, thereof, this world especially the Muslims will never come to agree with it.  They will eternally claim that the Bible is a corrupted word of God.  Notwithstanding that the Quran is a not a book of the Spirit Kingdom but is a book of the animal kingdom, so to speak!
