THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH IN THE MAN OF GOD

The world will never be able to come to the knowledge of truth though they attain wisdom and knowledge by reading the Bible. However, they be filled with zeal: it will not amount to the knowledge of truth.

Proverbs 30:3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.

2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
This is the reason why the Sadducees and the Pharisees and the Lawyers and the Scribes persecuted Jesus.  They thought they are the ones who had the understanding of the scriptures.  They ended up crucifying the very Messiah. This was a plan though as discussed in the mount between Jesus, Moses, and Elijah (Luke 9:30-31).

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Isaiah 47:10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

The servants of God will speak the mystery and not in the knowledge or wisdom which is according to men.  So when one claims to be sent by God and preaches of peace let him know that the doctrine is according to Godliness and not according to men.  Moreover, the servant of God will speak of new things which gender holiness and perfection: things not yet heard by men.  Their words will not be understood by the carnal men.

Psalms 139:6
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Proverbs 8:9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Job 33:3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

The proof of the Man of God is that he will speak of mysteries: which mystery is of the spirit. This he will do in the spirit of Truth and Revelation.
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
1 Corinthians 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. See 1 Corinthians 2:9
Any man who claims to be of God and speaketh not of the Everlasting Gospel, the Exhortation, the Doctrine according to Godliness, the Teaching On Perfection And Holiness, and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is not of God.  Yea, he will speak of words which are winds, meaning, without power, that is,  to create the new man which is the inner man. Amen.
