THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH

Following and fulfilling what is written in the scriptures is not a proof and a credential that a man or a church is God’s.  These people are simply trying to relive a life that is already past.   Believe it or not to have prophets within the church is not even a seal of it being a true church for the prophets must have the spirit of truth.

       However, it is to be understood that the church of God and the man of God is also come to fulfil the words written in the scriptures for He will come in a volume of book written of him.  What makes the man of God and his church distinct from the false or half-the-truth-churches-and-men is his power and doctrine which he preaches and exercises out of the command given to him by the Father which is in heaven.

       The above story, in the Spirit of truth, is best demonstrated by the biblical experience of Assyria, Egypt, and Israel (Judah) in its proper perspective.  He that hath an ear let him hear.  God is a Spirit and he is in heaven, and in earth and in hell!  There is no place where God is not present.

Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.  

                

       God being the possessor of heaven and earth: He is also the God of all.  He is a God of the Egyptians, of the Assyrians and of Israel and the God of the Devil and his angels.  Warping the time of the ancient forward into our present time: it is to be understood that there is no single church who can claim that they alone are of God.  God is talking to all just as He did of old and in the times of the New Testament. 

Isaiah 19:24-25 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the works of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

                

       God spake to Pharaoh-Nechoh of Egypt saying that he must go to war at Carchemish in the waters of Megiddo which is Euphrates: which King Josiah of Judah would not believe but decided to meddle leading to his death (2 Chronicles 35:20-24).  

       God spake to Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon; God spake to King Abimelech of Gerar the Philistine warning him of Sarah the wife of Abraham; God spake to king Esar-haddon the son of Sennacherib of Assyria in Nineveh; God spake to king Cyrus the Persian to build the House of God in Jerusalem; God spake to Saul the persecutor of the Christians on his way to Damascus;  God spake to the Eunuch of queen Candace of Ethiopia using Philipp the evangelist who was with the Holy Ghost; Prophet Samuel go around in circuit to different places from Israel to Damascus; God spake to the Midians as evidenced in the priesthood of Jethro the father in law of Moses;  God walked on the earth as He was met by Abraham from his tent at Mamre and Lot at the gate of Sodom; and what else proof would I speak?

                                                                                                               The point here is that the church that teaches that they alone are save or is alone the true church,  as if God is only speaking to them, is a presumptuous church.  This is teaching a false doctrine for certainly they do not know the scriptures!      

Also, any man who claims to be the Son of God so as to proclaim that he is the only begotten who has come in this last days must manifest the word and the command of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness for any power without holiness is of the evil.

Luke 4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power

Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

       Yea, the power of God is wide ranging and it is a sequel of power to another power that makes a man holy and perfect.  The power goes with the doctrine and the gospel itself which is according to Godliness.  The difference of the power of God and that of Satan is that his power will never make a man perfect and holy; yea, he will neither teach the ways of God which is in the spirit of judgment and burning. Satan is afraid of hell and fire.

As a matter of fact, the power of God is never subjugated or subdued by any powers that be.  Jesus Christ was crucified and was given to the power of darkness because it was his testimony.  His death was a script that he role played as discussed with Moses and Elijah to conquer death and show that there is resurrection.

Luke 9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

Luke 9:31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

The life of Jesus is the truth that shows the way to life eternal which is by obedience whether it be evil or be good.

Jeremiah 42:6 Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.

       God would like that a man will not think of evil or good if it is a command coming from him.  This is the innocence that God would want a man to attain and not the innocence like that of king Abimelech of Gerar who lusted after Sarah the wife of Abraham.  

       Innocence biblically means a man's state of being with the integrity of the heart and the cleanness of the hands.   The right kind of innocence, however,  is the one which intent and object is to glorify God and God, respectively; and not to satisfy oneself.

       Innocence with the integrity of heart and the cleanness of hands which object is to satisfy a man's own desire is neither of God nor is Godly. It is only Godly when its intent is to glorify God.

Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Now, the truth which is of God is not the truth which a man is thinking of.  The truth of God is all about his creation which is Man.  The truth is his word which changes a man from filthiness into holiness.  The truth of God is about his wisdom which changes a devilish wisdom into a heavenly wisdom.  The truth of God is not about the things that pertain to the flesh but to that of the spirit.

Truth is the Spirit which brings forth change in a man's mind, heart, soul, and spirit. So the word of God is the truth which commands a man to believe on him and to do what he commands for a man to become holy and perfect.  

        

This then is the big difference and gap between the understanding of what truth is on the various points of perspectives, and domains, and dimensions.

So when Jesus said that he is the way, the truth, and the life it simply means that he is the one sent by God to declare the right things for a man to be able to perceive and understand the work of God.  Truth is the sure change that will come to to a man body, soul, and spirit if a man will only take good heed to the voice of God. 

1 Kings 2:4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel. 

The truth is about the creation of God which is spiritual and not material to enable man to walk along and abide by the commandments which he declares. 

Now, truth is the Spirit which engenders the mercies of God upon man.  Being a Spirit it will never follow a path or a pattern of things when it wishes to create a man unto holiness and perfection.  This is the reason why it is always by a command.

1 Kings 3:6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.  

The Spirit of truth is about goodness and peace that reconciles a man back to his Creator.  The Spirit of truth makes a man abide and live a righteous life unto the salvation of his soul.

2 Kings 20:19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

Psalms 15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

Now the Spirit of truth is not concrete nor tangible but is spiritually discerned so that no man can really see and accept it to be in existence because the natural man receives not the things of God who is a Spirit. 

The Spirit of truth is not the truth which is found by inquiry in a criminal investigation.  This is where separation begins between the truth known to a carnal man and a spiritual man.  The spirit of truth is the truth that sets a spiritual man free from the bondage of sin and death.

In another work of God the spirit of truth and revelation brings forth the spirit of liberty upon man.  It is at this stage of growth in the spirit where a man is no longer under the law (even the written commandments of God). So that it is by the voice of the Lord whom he will send. 

Therefore man is commanded to cleanse himself from the filthiness of flesh and spirit which spirit is actually the spirit of a man which is in him, that is, the spirit of guile and the subtle spirit, among others.

Now there are diverse kinds of spirits: the spirit that is from God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the Profane spirit, and the spirit of man, to name a few by genre.

You see man has to know these spirits so he can discern which to receive and which to exorcise or reject.  Knowing not this truth will make a man perish from the life of the spirit which is of God. He that hath an ear let him hear.
