This is a nugget of truth which you must know: for many will teach using the precepts of men purposely to lure men into their fold. Having not the Spirit of Truth, however, the obvious becomes apparent that their words are all but lies!
Most of the preachers today say that God never answer "NO" to a man but "YES" or "WAIT"! This teaching is a point blank lie. The biblical experience say otherwise.
Moses in his petition to enter into the promise land was replied by a big "NO" by God.
Deuteronomy 3:23 And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,
Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
Deuteronomy 23:25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.
Deuteronomy 23:26 But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
Moreover, by the words written is to be understood and accepted as it is revealed that:
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Psalm 109:7 – Prayer becoming a sin
Prov 28:9 – Prayer becoming an abomination
Psa 80:4 – God angry at the prayer of his people
Psa 66:18,20 a Prayer not heard
So not all prayers are answered in an affirmative way but also in a negative manner. God's answer depends on the uncleanness of a man's heart and mind. let everyone that hath an ear hear this words. Amen
