This epistle attempts to educate the whole Christian world, who has the Fear of the Lord, regarding the Truth which was, and is, and is to come.
Sooner or later, Many will disagree with me: those who have not the Spirit of God or having received another gospel, or another Jesus, or another spirit. Jesus is also the other name of Satan! Therefore, be careful that you have the Spirit of God in you and not the unclean spirit, or else, you will be like the seven (7) sons of Sceva, having not the spirit, but just tried to cast out the devil from a man in the name of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
They who have the Fear of the Lord, let them hear what the spirit of wisdom and understanding will have to say regarding the Truth.
As the Christian world burden themselves with knowing God through the letters, which is to say, that they have the bible at hand, they missed to come to the knowledge of the Truth and to the knowledge of the Holy.
As pertains to the Truth and Holiness: we are to worship God in truth and in spirit; also, in truth we are to walk in it; in holiness, we are to become holy; and in perfection we are to become perfect for the Father in heaven is perfect.
Doing such thing as walking in the spirit will give you the the experience which brings hope unto a man. Better, yet, it will give man the experience on how the holy spirit will manifest and to know his manner.
2 Peter 1:5-10 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make
you that ye shall neither
be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
The measurement of the Truth according to the scriptures is that the life that is being professed by a man must first be spiritual, so that man can compare the spiritual things with the spiritual by the Holy Ghost. If any man cannot understand this simply means, that the life of the Man of God is firstly a fulfillment of the scriptures in a precept upon precepts, precepts upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little fashion (truncated).
The fulfillment is according to the testimony of a man whose life is written in the scriptures because of his faith which is, to say, man's life is driven by the words which he hear from the man of God. The spiritual man will delight in the volume of book which is written of him to do the will of God. This is the reason why the fulfillment of the scriptures of Jesus Christ is actually on a truncated manner. His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts.
Psalms 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
The whole chapter of Psalms 22 do not at all reflect the actual testimony of Jesus Christ but only a line upon line basis. In fact, his death was planned and was earlier known by Jesus as it was discussed between him and Moses and Elijah. It was not written in the manner as detailed as to how it would unfold. The life story of Jesus Christ was built in heaven.
Luke 9:29-31 ...Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
Now, this is the reason why Jesus turned and rebuked Peter saying, Get thee behind me Satan for thou savourest not the things of God but the things of men. The reaction of Peter unto the threat to the life of Jesus was actually against the plan of God for Jesus' crucifixion. The plan of God for each of his child is particularly unique in terms of their ministry and glory.
The Plan of God for all His children is universal in that he wanted them all to be holy and perfect for them to serve him, meaning, they must be without blame, blemish, spot, and wrinkle for them to be acceptable to him in serving him.
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Now, it is obvious that the teachings and the doctrine of men will abhor truncation because they will always say that any man who will add or diminish a word in what is written will either be a cause of curse unto him or his name will be blotted out from the book of life. Understand that the laws of God are written for men to observe, and to keep, and to obey; it is not for him (God) to be subject unto, though, he subjected himself also under it for to know what is in man.
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
The spirit of wisdom and understanding will tell us that the very reason why Israel was commanded not to add nor to diminish the words of his commands was for them to be able to keep his commandments.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
We are to know, however, that the spirit of wisdom and understanding reveals further this equally significant biblical experience: when the prophet Jeremiah rewrote the words of God which was cut and burned by King Jehoiakim the son of Josiah at his winter house.
Jeremiah 36:32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
Now, many preachers teach doctrines and laws that are not actually of God but by themselves. The proof to this is that they can never teach us the path of His commandments. They always find themselves warring at each other whether which of the commandment to follow: just as what happened to the young rich man who asked Jesus, saying, which commandment must he do to enter into life.
Matthew 19:16-22 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? ...The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?...Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Now, concerning also the law let me reveal to you the biblical experience in the spirit of wisdom and understanding that you may know God is the one setting it up or appointing it to people in his own time, will, purpose, time and judgment.
When the sons of Jehonadab the Rechabite were fully observing the laws of the Nazarite by not drinking wine: the prophet Jeremiah was commanded to come to them to let them drink of the wine. Having the laws of their fathers with them they refused to obey the voice of God by the prophet Jeremiah and so they were cursed.
Jeremiah 35:2 Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.
Jeremiah 35:6 But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:
Jeremiah 35:16 Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me:
Jeremiah 35:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
Jeremiah 35;19 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
The story above reveals to make us understand that the laws of God is not at all what is written and read or told of old. God is a living God and he is known by His judgments which He execute. He will come down to declare things that are right.
Lest you may think that this story is only in the old testament let me relate to you another in the New Testament. When everyone was thinking of the food that they should eat, that is, only the clean and not the unclean: Jesus said, it is not the thing that enter into a man's mouth that defile a man but what comes out of it. Yea, Peter was admonished, too, by a vision with God telling him what God has called clean let not yourself call it unclean.
Pushing further, Paul said, let us leave the first principles of the doctrine of Christ which is the doctrine of baptism and repentance and, so on, because the teaching is perfection. This means that no man can be perfect by the laws written for all have fallen short of it but by the coming alone of God in the flesh and declaring the words which to follow alone. This makes all things simple to understand and obey for it is by his voice. When he comes down the bible will become the witness of what he will be doing to his saints for all shall appear as written in it and some are not for he will do new things.
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Hebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Let everyone know now that everything that comes from God for a man to become holy and perfect is by a command. Though there maybe signs shown like that of the clouds by day and the pillar of fire by night during the time of Moses: yet, Israel would only journey upon a command. In fact, everything will be by a command ranging from the blessing to the curse and to the promise.
Additionally, though the command to circumcise became a covenant for Israel by Abraham this did not matter when Israel was at the wilderness. The children born at the wilderness were not circumcised until the time of Joshua.
Joshua 5:5 Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised.
Therefore, the law is not according to what a man knows or what he reads in the scripture which is the written law but of faith which is the unwritten law, that is, hearing it from God by Himself or through his prophets which is his voice.
Now, you may ask me how shall a man know if a prophet is talking in the spirit of truth or have the Spirit of God? Behold, that prophet shall speak or prophesy of peace. The peace which is with God and not with men. The sure prophecy is about the change in man or the coming of the new creature if he will obey the commands.
Though the scriptures say, as much as possible live peaceably with God and with men: the spirit of understanding again will teach us in the biblical experience about the true peace or the perfect peace.
Perfect peace is with God alone and not with Pharaoh. This was demonstrated when Shiprah and Puah defied Pharaoh to kill all the male children of the Hebrews during the time of Moses. Perfect peace is also gleaned on the experience of Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego when they all defied Nebuchadnezzar's laws. The fire and the lions did them no harm.
Man may declare peace but God will have to confirm that whether it is true, as it is written
Jeremiah 6:14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Jeremiah 8:11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Discerning the spirits is developed by experience in the life in the spirit and a life that is filled with profanity and uncleanness. To corrupt and defile oneself by joining with the world or by assimilating their abominable customs would impair the ability to discern the Spirit of truth from the spirit of error.
The discerning spirit comes in the experience of both the evil and the good in the spirit of diligence and obedience to the commands of God. This may sound hard to understand but allow me to put it this way, man in his obedience to God will naturally experience falls and rising again while obeying God because his flesh is weak when it comes to fulfilling the words which he hear from the servant(s) of God. This is what is meant by the experience of both the evil and the good while walking in the spirit of obedience. Upon this experience will come the discerning of the spirits because discernment is the experience itself.
No one man can say a thing is evil or good unless God declares such as evil or good or holy. One can easily glean from the lesson on Moses who made the brasen serpent in the wilderness by the command of God though there was already the ten commandments against all graven images or molten images. Moses, also, married an Ethiopian woman which was against the law to marry strange women. In fact, Aaron and Miriam made a mistake of confronting Moses on the matter and Miriam was plagued with leprosy for that act.
Man is automatically deceived as he begins to observe lying vanities, yea, even his mercy from God is at jeopardy. Believing Jesus is only an eye opener to all Christians but to serve God is the highest calling and serving Him means that a man will need to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord and Savior to become holy and perfect.
Any person who do not believe in God or the scriptures will have no business reading or, worse, contending this truth.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
There is, therefore, a necessity for a man to walk in the spirit but this is impossible to happen if a man remains to be unclean, corrupted and defiled by the world and by a man's own works. This why man is commanded to separate himself from the world and to have no fellowship with the world because the cleanness of a man's heart and mind is the only way for the spirit to come and dwell in a man.
It is but right and logical why the people of the world is not seeing any single holy man today who is doing the will of God because this will only happen when a man walking in the spirit is obedient to him and has become the dwelling place of the Spirit of God.
The discerning spirit is that spirit whose eyes are open to all of the spiritual experiences along the ways of the man of God; who loves God with all his heart, and with all his mind, and with all his soul, and with all his might.
It is only in the spiritual experience where a man can actually know what is right and what is wrong; for God will be talking to him in the spirit of counsel and might.
Having said that, how then can a carnal man discern the spirits? There is no way for him to know. Who is now ministering the spirits? There is neither anyone nor any church who is ministering the Spirit but all of them by the words alone. This is the reason why their words do not have the spirit of power because they do not have the Spirit of God in them.
Additionally, the spirit of power of God is in bearing all things, believing all things, hoping all things, accepting all things, enduring all things and in patience. Yea, though it bears also the signs and wonders.
2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly
the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders,
and mighty deeds.
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
This is the power of God whosoever denies this power is of the devil. Also, the power of God is in his works, meaning, on his creation. The work which makes people to believe in him and to change a man from being profane into becoming holy; and from being unclean into becoming clean. Many people, nowadays, deny the power for not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
Titus 1:16 They profess that
they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and
disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Any man who uses the word of God in his works without the Spirit of God is the devil himself, though, he has the words known to him coming from the book of Genesis to the book of the Revelation_ for by their fruits you shall know them. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
Whosoever, has not the Spirit of God can never bring forth the fruit of the Spirit.
Now, let me cut this expose' in part before you grow weary in the flesh. Amen
