All these outfits claim to know God and have either declared that they have the understanding on the scriptures or the wisdom of the prudent. Apollo Quiboloy claims to be the appointed Son of God though he is presently in hotseat having lawsuits in the US and in the Philippines since 2022 until 2024 as of this writing. Eli Soriano a minister of question whom people believe to be the wise man died out of time in Brasil between the years 2021 and 2022 which is the pandemic period. Felix Manalo the founder of Iglesia ni Kristo is acclaimed by its adherents as the man from the east and this church is in raps regarding murder and kidnapping in 2019.
Some small churches sprout as a scam like the Kappa Community Ministry International led by its pastor Joel Apolinario and the Socorro bayanihan Services Incorporated led by Jey Rence Quilario known as Senyor Agila (just exposed in 2024 _ senyor Agila is involved in a number of Sex Scandals).
Churches, sects, and denominations have mushroomed and this is apparently the spiritual explosion prophesied several decades ago about the Philippines. By mushroom, indeed, some are poisonous. Yea, it is written that in the last days knowledge will increase; but, it is also written that with much wisdom is much grief and he that increase knowledge will increase in sorrow.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
In view of the foregoing, I fully admit that the spiritual explosion has come to pass in our times, and explosion, indeed, for the CHURCH or the Mystical Body of Christ was detonated creating splinters and deadly shrapnel into the unsuspecting Christian World. The Philippines has become the place of the cults.
One can never blame the unwitting victim or actor of the scheme of deception that is now taking place within the hearts of these evangelists and the gullible audiences as it is written that the heart is above all deceitful!

If one were to endeavor to lump them together as having one Father, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, and one Spirit: one can hardly see the peace of God that a Christian would expect to see. They discredit the very God they want to exalt and glorify.

Everyone of them is fighting one against the other directly or indirectly! Their laws do not agree just like the events in the times of the apostles James, John and Peter (to include Jude) who were against Paul: for one thing they would eat blood and the others would not (referring to the IGLESIA NI CRISTO). Everyone of them wrest on the scriptures which they neither understand nor are able to come to the knowledge of truth.
This episode of the division of the CHURCH or THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST comes as no surprise to them who know and understand the scriptures. Jesus aptly admonished the pharisees and the scribes in his time saying, ye do err not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God. God is a Spirit and the Spirit is the law itself and never that the law is the spirit. Needless to say, the Spirit is not under the law but the law is just a construct added by the spirit because of transgression.
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
So as they wrestle one against the other in the days of the apostles on the laws of God which they never understood, even so today are the pseudo-Christians wrestling over the scriptures of the old and new Testaments. They miss the truth that God appoints the times, and the seasons, and the laws for a generation! There is a right divider of the truthand that Goddeclares the things that are right.
No man will ever really know the Law of God at a particular time and season and for a people whom He will choose to be His people. This is the reason why they argued on the law of circumcision which Paul lightly esteemed as a less weightier matter.
Except God will reveal by the Spirit of Truth and Revelation through his prophets, else, He himself will come down to speak to the man whom he will send like what he did to Moses, then and only then will a man know His Will, and Intent, and Purpose, and Time, and Judgment, and counsel. The problem today is that no one is really coming up in the open or is known in the open as having the Spirit of God.
Numbers 9:3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
2 Chronicles 15:3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
Psalms 78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
Be not deceived God is not mocked for He is a living God who utters His speech day unto day and night unto night. He will show knowledge. God is not limited in space or by a church or by an interpreter which is framed and predisposed by a doctrine. God is everywhere and ready to dwell unto them who will seek Him with all their heart, with all their mind, with all their soul, and with all their might.
Understandably, God will never pour out His Spirit unto them who are bigoted cause they will never obey His voice or commands neither will they be able to understand the works, ways, mind, and manner of of God. This was the conflict which happen between Paul and the apostles of Jesus Christ. Having the Spirit does not always result to the likeness of mind. Note, that the apostles receive the Holy Ghost out of the gift of grace and the promise. By grace and mercy, the 120 people who were at the upper room at Jerusalem during the Pentecost were all endowed with the Holy Ghost without having the skill and the habituation of being a righteous and just man. Remember them saying, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!
Truly, the apostles of old only know in part and prophesy in part even as the present day evangelists void of perfect the knowledge and the understanding of the Spirit are polluted. The whole truth will have yet come out which will reconcile the grudges and bridge the gap between them that claim: one as the appointed son of God, and the other claiming to have the wisdom of God, and the one claiming to be the only true church.
Evidently, these self proclaimed evangelists and churches preach the word of God which is written out of contention, or else, out of envy, or else, out of their desire for pre-eminence or vain glory by their own and private interpretation. Let God be true and every man a liar.
This is my first salvo of expose' on the true spirituality of the Filipino evangelists and churches. I do not say that they are not speaking of the truth. I am also a true blooded FILIPINO. Lo, I am just trying to establish the whole Truth and not part of the Truth which is from God.
Do not get me wrong. I am trying bring everyone into understanding the Works and the Ways of God in the spirit of Love and Power and of the Sound Mind.
Let us, therefore, know the scriptures and the power of God for today almost everyone in the Christian world deny the power. The very reason is stated by Jesus as mentioned earlier in the scriptures of Matthew 22:29 Ye do err for not knowing the scripture and the power of God.
Remember, the people whom Jesus chided with are the Pharisees and the Scribes and many other learned scholars whom Paul said ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of Truth. The interpreters of the scriptures before come from the colleges where the prophets and the scribes are lodged. See Huldah the prophetess whom the king would seek the interpretation of the scriptures which they found in the Temple of God.
Only those who have the Spirit are the legitimate people who knows the mind, manner, ways and works of God. Apollos was a man mighty in the scriptures but he was yet to be taught about the ways of God. Clearly, the credential of the man of God is the Spirit and not the knowledge in the scriptures, and so, we are warned not to believe every spirit but to try every spirit whether they are of God.
The WORK OF GOD is in the Spirit, and by Spirit, man has to know the Spirit and its fruit. Also, man has to have the spirit even as God promised, in fact, to pour out His spirit in the last days.
But we all know how great contradiction the apostles of Christ were met in their days not only by the people who read the scriptures but also by the philosophers and men of science. Simply put, they were very unpopular though actually popular. They were called heretics and pestilent fellows.
My point, here is that it will take a very meticulous, careful, and sincere focus and attention and inspection of these people claiming that they are of Godor are sent by God. I would say, do it with prayer and supplication.
