KNOWING GOD

Little do people know God.  One may say, you fool! Who can know God? Well, you can be partly right but not perfect for not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

What the whole world missed knowing about and understanding the things of God is rooted in the absence of the Truth, because of uncleanness, which is suppose to be taught to the  people by Men of God, Ministers of God, Priests of God, Prophets of God, Scribes, Teachers, and Evangelists among others.

                       The works of God has been known to the old world and pervades in many kingdoms: Egypt, Assyria, Syria, Babylon, and Ethiopia to name a few.  In the days of captivity the works of God were  also recorded in the Books of the Kings of the Medes and the Persians like the testimony of Mordecai.  In fact, God spoke to Cyrus for him to rebuild the House of God in Jerusalem.  God spoke to the Philistines by King Abimelech of Gerar and to the Moabites by a prophet named Balaam (foolish though).  It is to be understood that  God is working in other countries, too, recording his name there, hence, the many names He is being called.  Now, there are those religion which preach God out of envy, contention, for filthy money, and some for good conscience.  Paul said, it is nothing to him for whatsoever manner Christ is preached. I say, I do not care God is preached and believed: only listen to this truth and spirit of understanding. 

  Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianism, and many other religious sects continue to live according to what is written in their oracles, Quran, Vedas, Holy Bible and many other literatures.  All these religious sects and denominations believe in God but greatly missed the Truth on Who God is and What is His manner as a Spirit: for God is a Spirit.

All of these religion today do not understand what is meant by a God in the Spirit.  To be a God in the Spirit means that he is everywhere and knows all things and is powerful in all things.  To be a spirit He is able to dwell in men, speak through man or through the animals (see the ass speaking to the prophet Balaam).  To be a Spirit means he is alive inside men whom he chooses to dwell in.  To be a Spirit means, he is just here on earth and anytime He is readily accessible to all who are able call upon Him. 

Now, the Spirit is Holy and is Jealous.  These qualities of God should make us understand that being holy and jealous the sins of men are never to be forgiven.  

Joshua 24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

The Spirit looks at the heart, yea, the evil imaginations of the hearts of men and He punishes them because of it as we recall this in the times of Noah.  In the New Testament, He would affirm saying, if a man would hate his brother he is a murderer: if a man looks at a woman with lust he is an adulterer.  It is clear that the imagination of man is a stronghold which needs to be pulled down and destroyed.   To put things in the mind and heart is the same as doing it already. 

1 Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Man is to be very careful with the things that he is keeping inside his heart like the love of money, the pride of life, the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh.  The things you let inside your heart to dwell will eventually lead you and define the life you will live at present and in the future.  All of your actions and thoughts will be guided and taught by that thing which you keep in your heart.  So man is exhorted to cleanse his heart and mind of the things which fights against God.  The uncleanness and evil which is in man is to be cleansed and exorcised so that the Spirit of God may dwell.  We are not to corrupt or defile the temple which temple are we.

Deuteronomy 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Knowing now that God is holy and jealous it behooves us to understand that the world is actually in chaos because of its corruption and uncleanness and abominations.  By Holiness and Jealousy God sent Moses, Joshua, Caleb, and the Judges, and the Kings to drive out nations from the holy lands of God: whereas, these lands  in the days of Adam, Noah, Abraham and their generations were already distributed to these nations who later became abominable.

Deuteronomy 32:8     When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

The verses above should tell us that this world was already divided or given to the children of God since time immemorial as it is a holy land_ a creation of God.  These, however, turned corrupt and violent and defiled and abominable, hence, the spewing and driving out, and the destruction.

It is to be understood that God being holy and jealous has destroyed nations because of sin by the sword (wars), by the famine, by the noisome beasts, and by the pestilence which is the four (4) sore judgment of God. 

Ezekiel 14:21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four (4) sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

All of the troubles we have today is a fruit of our sins and evil works.  Even as the children of God were spewed and driven out and destroyed because of the evil of their imaginations.  It is now, therefore, of no great marvel why the world is in great crises and wars and pestilences.   Sad to say, there is no one teaching of this truth.  Everyone acknowledge no shortfalls or sin to repent of.

No one man can question God of his works for He is the potter and has made known his acts and ways to men, ever since, but man would not like to retain that knowledge about God in them.  In fact, no one would ever want to hear and read this truth. 

Now, God is a Spirit and is like a wind which blows wherever it would like to go. Therefore, the laws and the commandments are continually evolving in different times and places.  Just as his name is changing his laws are also added and changed according to the evil of the times. 

Galatians 3:19     Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
2 Kings 18:4     He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. 

So, the laws are not the promises even as the laws are not of faith.  Meaning, what a man has read and known by reading from all of the literatures which were written and known of them of old (the words written in the Quran, the Holy Scriptures, the Vedas, the Oracles, and many other source of righteousness or good) were then a faith to them as they heard it.  The words written in those holy books were then a faith to them but not for us for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  

The Word of God is always present and not a truth which is of the past and was declared to a particular people: for God is alive and not dead.  The present Truth is the voice of God which means the voice of the One whom he will indwell and send to declare the things that are right.   

Behold, if every man will live by the laws which were declared by God to a particular people and in another time and in another place:  it should be clear to us that the present troubles and confusion, we are now experiencing, is actually a result of peoples trying to relive a life under a particular purpose, will, intent, time and judgment of God which is not necessarily for ours to live by today.

Man must understand that the laws have always been evolving as the situation required of the people and peoples and places of old.  As a clear example, the laws on food in the time of Adam and Eve were very much different from the laws set by God to Noah and from one people to another nation.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Genesis 2:16     And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Genesis 2:17     But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 9:4      But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

The Law of God on the Disciples in the time of Jesus was everything is clean what is declared clean by God

So the law is clear that it is declared by God through his prophets or by the Man of God.  The law is only faith if it is present and not an old letter but in the newness of the spirit. 

It should be understood then that everybody today is trying to live in an old law which is a righteousness of the law and the righteousness of faith.  This is happening because no man has understood that God is a Spirit and is alive in the Man of God.  He that do not believe that God is a Spirit that dwells in a chosen vessel a man the same is an antichrist.

So Islam is living in an old law and not in faith.  Mohammed was a prophet indeed for them as a people but that law is already past and they will need to believe in God who is presently working in a particular nation of people or sect or church.  The Buddhists are also living in the old letters for as long as they live by the oracles.  Similarly, the Hindus are following the same suit for as long as they live by the Vedas. 

The way to knowing that God is the one speaking is it will command things which are not after the flesh but after the spirit.  Meaning, the commands will never give provision to the flesh lust, pride, emotion, filth and imagination but according to the purpose, will, intent, time, judgment and counsel of God.  This is called the Truth.

So, the laws serve to us as a schoolmaster to bring us to the faith having the understanding that God is alive and not dead.  God becomes dead if man will encase him in a book or literature like the Holy Bible or the Quran or the Vedas or the Oracles.  

This is the reason why man will never know God except that God will reveal himself to a man.  Cleanse yourself from filthiness of flesh and spirit so that God the spirit will come to dwell in you.  This is the reason why God in another time and place is declaring a law different from what was known concerning him by another people or in another place.

This is the reason why fools misconstrue God as a divisive God or a tribal God!  Know that God is never tribal but man is.  Man is punished by the iniquity of his sin and God is enlarging in all of the earth.  Any one nation that is turned evil is always hated by God, hence, the judgment and the punishment falling upon them.  One nation will be used to destroy another nation and, worse, still is the situation that an evil nation will be used to slay the wicked nation.  There is no other reason for all the troubles that prevail and pervades in this earth today: it is the wickedness of men and sin that abounds in it.  Repent, therefore.

Psalms 34:21    Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.   

The righteous judgment of God is this: that God allowed evil and trouble to reward them who sow in evil so that they may come to Him in fear and worship.  So all knees must bow and seek God early while he is near or else the four sore judgment will come which is already at work among all nations.
