THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Little do people know and understand that God is a Spirit. Moreover,  many have erred in this respect for not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.  The learned and the schooled would contend this exposé. 

Moving on, the lack of understanding that God is a Spirit is a fact why many have failed to discern and know how Jesus Christ would manifest in the flesh in these days.  

Today, many claim that they are the Christ rightly fulfilling the scriptures which say, many will come in his name and many will be deceive.  Yea, the deceiver will deceive nations as it is written.  So these thieves will be using the name of Jesus to deceive many.

Revelation 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

In fact, they will claim to be the Christ using the name Jesus which name is incidentally also the name of the devil!  Remember, that the main weapon of the warfare of the devil is the weapon of deception. He is onto a war of imitative deception.

2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

To pre-empt and to settle a likely controversy that might arise out of this knowledge that Jesus is also the name of Satan let me expound on the biblical fact which accounts on the seven sons of Sceva who were vagabond Jews.  These siblings tried to cast out the devil from an exorcist using the name of Jesus.  To cut the story short, the devil said unto them Jesus, I know and Paul I know but who art thou? They were therefore overcomed by the devil and were hurt.

One thing clear on the story is that it is not actually the name that matters when someone would attempt to cast out devils.  It is the Spirit that is inside a man who is actually known  by the devil and never the name.  

Interested? Well, the ancient truth is that God did not have a name before during the days of Adam, and Seth.  It was only during the days of Enos that men began to call upon the name of God.  

Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.  

Keeping this in mind, it is no great wonder why Jesus never used his name to cast out devils and unclean spirits.  He would simply command the spirits to leave and they would obey his command.  This is because they know the Spirit in him.  No amount of names could exorcise a demon possessed individual unless the Spirit is inside the man doing the exorcism.

Additionally,  the power that men must recognize that they may know whether the spirit is of God is the power which is able to cast out and cleanse a filthy flesh and spirit of a man.  The power in his holiness and perfection.

2 Samuel 22:33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. 

As people are conditioned about the hackneyed buzz about the devil, saying, that the devil can also make the dead rise: this even makes a far more confusing effect on how to really discern the right spirit.  Remember, everyone is given the counsel to believe not every spirit but to try every spirit whether they are of God.

 The power of God  is linked to declaring his name in the Spirit.

Exodus 9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

The power of God  is in washing and sanctification and justification by his Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

The power of God is in speech and preaching not with enticing words of man’s wisdom.

1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

The power of God is in creation, meaning, how men are going to be changed into a new creature by receiving a new heart, and a new mind, and a new spirit that comes from God alone.  Knowing this, people have got to question themselves if they are aware of the ways how they are going to be created into becoming the very same image of God?

The power of God is in making a man trust only in him. He brought Israel out of Egypt to bring them into the wilderness to serve him there and there they suffered hunger and thirst: for man should not live by bread alone but by the word of God.  Gideon’s army was reduced to 300 strong from the original of 32,000 men if only for Gideon to trust in God and not in the flesh for cursed is the man who puts his trust in man and makes flesh his arm.

Now, the power of God is in getting wealth, inversely, however, the apostle Paul said, that getting gain is not Godliness.  This opposing words have a key which reveals to us that there is a procedure to getting wealth.  The steps to getting wealth is by seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and then all things shall be added.  Man has got to love God first with all his heart, with all his mind, with all his soul, and with all his strength for this is the first great commandment to all men. This is the procedure to getting wealth.

So it is clear that the power of God is in the spiritual and not on the temporal or material things if only to put a differentiation to the powers that be.  The sons of God do have the spirit of the Son of God and because of this they seek not to profit in the flesh for the flesh profits nothing but it is the spirit that gives life.

The power of God is in discerning the spirits whether they are of God.  Do not be deceived by all of the religion and preachers who stand only to gain wealth and teaches of prosperity which is not according to Godliness. 

The doctrine of God is in Godliness.  Search your hearts and know yourself: if you only follow and believe God because of the recompences, and rewards, and the promises of God then your heart is not pure in his sight.  Know that serving God is not to be tainted with emotion or with the motivation to become rich, or to be famous in this world.   

I can, further, cite infinite examples of the power of God both in the temporal and in the spiritual, but what is paramount is the spiritual, for the ministers of God in these last times are ministers of the spirit.  They are able ministers of the New Testament whose ministration is of the spirit, and not of words only, for the word kills a man but the spirit gives life.

Going back, therefore Jesus Christ is a Spirit and not only a name for God by the record have had changed his name for many times and have changed his works in diverse manners.  Some call him Jehovah, some call him Rose of Sharon, some call him the Lily of the Valley, Some call him JAH, and many more even as it is prophesied that he shall be called by a new name.  

Likewise, his works vary from what is written to what is not written in the scriptures.  Yea, it is from right in the eyes of men to wrong in the eyes of man.  

The Lesson here is that man must have the discerning spirit for him to know the spirit that is moving a preacher to teach using the word of God.  The other teaching is a teaching that do  use the word of God or, safely say, that do not use the voice of the Lord (this is when He comes down already, meaning, He has already built his temple which is the man).   All these, however, are not of God and do not have the Spirit of God.  The great difference is in the Spirit.

These men are false prophets and false teachers who do not teach the very essence of the gospel of Christ which stands on perfection, holiness, fear of the Lord, and in glorifying him which is the everlasting gospel of God.

Now, therefore, when Jesus Christ comes man must first be spiritual and be taught of the spiritual things of God. Only the man with the Spirit of God can do all these things; so that he that do not have the Spirit of God but vainly babble in front of men are not of God.  These are the very deceivers whose lives are written that they will reject Jesus Christ at his coming.

Finally, God is not inutile and weak that He cannot come down to dwell among men and in a man for He is a Spirit and he will come to inhabit inside a man who has become his temple being made holy and perfect.
 

Along this perspective, the coming of Jesus Christ is not, therefore, impossible and undetectable but detectable and discernible.  His Spirit will manifest in the man who has in him.  Remember, His teaching is never of the flesh but of the Spirit.  Who is now teaching about the spirit? Who is now engage in a spiritual warfare? Who is now ministering the Spirit? Who is now giving the spiritual gifts? Who is now baptizing man with the Holy Ghost and with Fire? Lo, let him be who claims to be of Christ or Christ himself be not entangled with the affairs of this world as many have already fallen and done so.
